Primary Identification – You MUST have the original document of one of the following that contains your complete name.
- Valid Canadian Passport (entitled to a credential issuance period of 6 months)
- Valid Canadian Passport and current I-94
- Valid Employment Authorization Card (Proof of Social Security Required)
- Valid Canadian Passport and USCIS document
Canadian Citizens presenting only their valid passport are entitled to a driver license or ID card issuance for six months. Canadians with USCIS/DHS documents are entitled to issuance until the specific expiration date of their document(s), not to exceed one year.
