POSITION PURPOSE AND SCOPE
Our Client Service Specialists are responsible for providing direct service to citizens seeking assistance with a variety of transactions including:
- Vehicle/vessel registration and titling
- Driver’s licensing
- Business tax receipts and tangible tax payments
- Property tax payments
- Hunting and fishing licenses
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Processing a variety of transactions, as indicated above, for in-person, online and mail clients.
- Performing cashiering functions to ensure accurate posting of payments and accurate balancing of daily cash till.
- Performing clerical tasks, including data entry, photocopying, faxing, inventory of supplies and preparation of correspondence and/or reports.
- Performing driving tests and VIN checks.
Qualifications/Skills:
- A minimum of 60 college credits are required. Your application will NOT be considered if you do not meet this requirement
- Previous customer service experience.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Patient and empathetic attitude.Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with various computer programs and ability to adapt to new programs.
We work full-time hours, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, and employees participate in a rich array of benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, generous paid time off and an employer-paid pension plan.
